Welcome to Fouad Akoud page

This page is dedicated to shed light on the works of the Nubian writer and activist Fouad Akoud.
Mr. Akoud is currently living in Cairo, Egypt and known as a distinguished English/Arabic translator where he mainly focuses on historian books.

Islam in the Sudan, by J. Spencer Trimingham, a controversial book about the cultural characteristics of the Northern Sudan, is one of his famous translation works. He has also written extensively and continues to write essays and articles in newspapers on the culture and history of the Nubian kingdom, one of the oldest civilizations of Africa that goes back to 6000 years of rich history.

Mr. Akoud is currently working on the first dictionary for the Dongolese language, one of the native Nubian languages in Sudan. He just needs a good publisher... do you have one? Please email this writer if you can help in this regards
